Center for pilgrims and tourists will be opened in Turkestan.

  Center for tourists and pilgrims will be opened by the end of December. According to Akim of South Kazakhstan region, annually 600 000 tourists visit the region, most of them are pilgrims.

  Mainly tourists come with religious intentions, so not everyone can afford accommodation in hotels. Usually they are accommodated in private homes near the mausoleum. Taking into account this circumstances, Governor of South Kazakhstan region decided to build a special center for them where they can stay and bring a sacrifice. In addition, the center will also have a library where everyone can find all the necessary information on a religious theme.
